Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan (Garib kalyan rojgar abhiyan) has been launched by our country's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaramji. The scheme aims to help the migrant labourers of the country and provide them employment opportunities. The campaign will be launched by the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi, on 20th June. We know very well that a lot of migrants have moved from one place to another in the lockdown.


So, they have no work to do. In such a situation, the migrant labourers will be given work under the scheme so that they can provide for themselves. On 20th June, the Prime Minister held a conference to launch the Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan. During the conference meeting, the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi ji, was accompanied by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Adityanath, Bihar Chief Minister Hon'ble Nitish Kumar ji, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Orissa CM Pratap Jain etc.


The coronavirus in the country has caused a lot of inconvenience to the migrant labourers and the workers. They have faced a lot of difficulties. That is why, in view of the arrangements to manage the facility, the Poor Welfare Employment Garib kalyan rojgar abhiyan has been launched by the Prime Minister of our country in this conference. Which has been done on 20th June from telihar village in Belhar block of Khadia district in Bihar.
