Up Bhagyalakshmi Yojana has been launched by The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanathji. So that the girls from poor families can be benefited financially and helped. Under the UP Bhagyalakshmi Yojana scheme if a daughter is born in a household. So, it is provided by the State Government as an assistance of Rs.₹50,000. At the same time, the daughter's mother is also encouraged an amount of Rs.₹5100. The main objective of UP Bhagyalakshmi Yojana should be to take steps to prevent crime like foeticide.

Up Bhagyalakshmi Yojana 2020 Objective

The main objective of UP Bhagyalakshmi Yojana 2020 is to prevent foeticide.

Under the scheme, an amount of Rs.₹50,000 will be given to the daughter on her birth.

50,000 will be given to the girl and ₹51000 to the girl's mother.

When the girl turns 21, her parents will be given ₹200,000 by the government.

Only two daughters in a family can benefit under the UP Bhagyalakshmi scheme.

The girl child should be admitted to a Government educational institution for education.
